Discover Term shouldn’t be out of reach.

The Discover Term Foundation was established to help families who are inspired by our mission but need support making it happen. If the financial commitment is a barrier, we want to hear from you.
The Foundation provides scholarships to students who have the drive and character to thrive in our programs — and whose families need help getting them there. We use a third-party platform called Clarity to assess financial need fairly and confidentially, based on your family’s full financial picture.

How it works

1. Start your Clarity application

Visit the Clarity application portal using the link below. The application is mobile-friendly, saves your progress automatically, and typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete.

2. Select Discover Term

Under “Select Schools,” click “+ Add a School” and type in “Discover Term” so your application is sent to us.

3. Complete the application

You’ll share information about your family’s income, assets, expenses, and debts. At the end of the application there is a $60 submission fee. If this fee would create hardship for your family, please reach out to Jamie Matthews at admissions@discoverterm.com before submitting.

4. We'll be in touch

Once we receive your application, our team will review it and follow up with next steps.

Need flexibility, not a scholarship?

Payment plans are available for families who need them and are determined on a case-by-case basis. Instructions for requesting a payment plan are provided during the final checkout process when you enroll.

The Discover Term Foundation depends on donors who believe, as we do, that all students benefit from time in nature, away from screens, and in the company of a community that challenges and supports them.
